RESPONSIBILITY

From our small HQ in Sheffield we may not think our business impacts the global environment at all, however, we know we do. And, we want to play our small part in improving this, for future generations.

Whilst we sit in a niche industry, somewhere between jewellery, engineering and manufacturing, we face the same environmental and socio-economic problems. Whether it is a precious metal or a rare metal; gold, diamonds or cobalt, we need to be better at being transparent about where materials come from and how they are sourced. This is our commitment to being responsible.

Demand for metals, such as cobalt and tantalum has never been higher. Used in the manufacture of most smart devices, rechargeable batteries and other electronic goods, our modern digital lifestyles and desire for cleaner, rechargeable vehicles is fuelling demand for these metals. As such, we find ourselves in a complicated, competitive and intense supply chain.

Ultimately, we want to create jewellery from materials that are sourced responsibly and ethically, and can be fully traced back to source, through the supply chain. And, whilst we know this may be difficult and we won’t always get it right first time, this is our ultimate goal.

Our current range of metals are all mined, refined and processed in China before being shipped to the United Kingdom and hand-finished in Sheffield.
