My journey includes crafting memorable pieces like the "Zoey" wedding ring, symbolising our brand's fusion of modern aesthetics and vintage charm. Highlights such as inaugurating new offices and planning our upcoming retail experience underscore our growth and innovation in the industry. Working closely with my team, I emphasise creativity and continuous improvement, driving us towards new horizons and collective pride in our accomplishments.

OPERATING OFFICER

With around 10 years in the jewellery industry, I've gained in-depth technical knowledge through JET1 and JET2 qualifications from the NAJ and hands-on experience. Working with our supportive and diverse team is a privilege, especially in nurturing skills and fostering growth. My favourite part of my job is the amazing people who drive our business forward. Career highlights include continuous learning and evolving with Flinn & Steel, a company where potential is limitless!

TEAM LEADER

With a background in teaching and retail, I bring strong people skills, patience, and an ability to ask the right questions to help customers find their dream ring. Although I had no prior jewellery experience before joining Flinn & Steel , I've thrived in this role, thanks to our fantastic, collaborative team. The best part of my job is the people—both colleagues and customers—who make every day enjoyable. Career highlights include my rewarding time as a youth worker, presenting to funders, and being nominated for the Retail Jeweller 30 Under 30 after just 18 months at the company.

TRAINEE EXPERIENCES MANAGER

With a background in a family-run museum and hospitality business specialising in gemstones, plus a Diploma in Silversmithing and Jewellery Design, I've been immersed in geology, jewellery, and customer service from a young age. I've spent over 15 years in the jewellery industry. Working with my team is a joy, fuelled by creativity and enthusiasm, and I love collaborating on exquisite jewellery and memorable customer experiences. Career highlights include traveling to places like Tucson, Munich, and London for gemstone-related projects, making my time at Flinn & Steel truly rewarding.

E-COMMERCE LUXURY SALES CONSULTANT

With a background in custom dress design, I'm adept at handling bespoke ring orders, ensuring customer ideas come to life. The best part of my job is creating treasured items that mark special moments in people's lives. Career highlights include seeing the finished ring for my first customer at Flinn & Steel and working on the embellishment for a costume for Beyoncé in my previous fashion work—I just love sparkles!

JEWELLERY STYLIST

With a sales-oriented background and experience as a Stylist in London boutiques and John Lewis, I've received excellent training in honesty and customer guidance, which aligns with my values at Flinn & Steel. This is my first role in the jewellery industry, and I love it, especially the opportunity to learn and grow as a Showroom Stylist. The best part of my job is meeting diverse customers and creating memorable experiences through our combined love for our rings. A career highlight was attending the NAJ awards, where I received an honorary mention for Retail Salesperson of the Year.

PURCHASING AND PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE

With a degree in human biology, my analytical skills have been surprisingly valuable in the jewellery business, especially for studying sales data and making informed stock purchases. Working in our collaborative and supportive team fosters creativity and innovation, making each day a joy. The best part of my job is the people and being surrounded by lovely rings. A career highlight was attending the Inhorgenta jewellery fair in Munich, where I learned a lot and enjoyed a weekend away with the team.

SENIOR DESIGNER

Starting as an apprentice sales associate at a high-street jewellery retailer and later working at a traditional family jeweller's repairs counter, I gained valuable customer experience and technical knowledge. As the main product designer at Flinn & Steel, I enjoy creative freedom and collaborate closely with my team. My fave aspect of my job is researching historical jewellery styles and crafting unique designs, which I pitch to our Principal Designer and CEO (Jessica) before finalising with our CAD designer. A career highlight was winning Young Jewellery Designer of the Year at the Professional Jeweller Awards in 2022.

CAD DESIGNER

With a degree in Game Design and expertise in 3D design software, I've enjoyed leveraging my skills at Flinn & Steel. Working in our dynamic team, particularly with the design team, is incredibly fulfilling as we bring creative ideas to life. The highlight of my work is the freedom to work from home and the rewarding experience of creating special pieces for our customers' precious moments. A career highlight has been transitioning from sales to a CAD designer role at Flinn & Steel, showcasing the team's trust in me and allowing me to thrive in my current position.

MANAGER

With a Distinction in International Marketing and experience as a Brand Manager in FMCG, I joined the company in December 2023, diving into the jewellery industry and loving every moment since. The best part is our talented team and the joy of trying on beautiful rings. A career highlight was collaborating with Warner Brothers, attending a film premiere, and seeing our work showcased alongside Hollywood stars. As Marketing Manager, I oversee our marketing strategy and ensure my team is well-supported.

With a decade-long journey in marketing across in-house and agency roles, I've gained extensive knowledge that continues to evolve at Flinn & Steel. Working in our small but dynamic team of creative minds and tech enthusiasts makes every day a rewarding adventure. The best part of my job is the creative freedom to craft diverse marketing content, from social media to blogs, and the excitement of tackling new challenges. Winning the Emerging Brand award for Flinn & Steel in 2023 stands out as a career highlight, validating the hard work invested in the brand.

I take pride in our inclusive company culture and social justice initiatives, which align with my personal values. A career highlight was collaborating on a photoshoot with VOGUE Australia, igniting a passion for creative direction that I hope to pursue further.

Coming from a background of HR and Finance experience, I previously worked at Onyx Scientific Ltd in Sunderland for 10 years before joining Flinn & Steel. During my tenure there, I gained extensive skills in financial management, strategic HR planning, and organisational leadership, which have been invaluable in my role as HR & Finance Director at Flinn & Steel.

I bring a wealth of administration experience to Flinn & Steel, thriving in fast-paced, customer-oriented environments. Since joining in August 2022, I've embraced learning and I look forward to expanding my knowledge. LASER TECH AND 

ADMIN ASSISTANT

Before joining Flinn & Steel as the in-house Laser Technician, I gained extensive experience at the Sheffield Assay Office, specialising in hallmarking precious metals through stamping and laser techniques. In my current role I've not only applied my skills but also had the privilege to train two team members in laser machine operations. Working in the admin team has been fantastic; we collaborate and support each other whenever needed. Working alongside such an amazing team at Flinn & Steel has been the highlight of my career so far.
